💳 Refund Policy
Refund Policy

1. Overview
LMS is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences. We understand that circumstances may change, and this policy sets out the conditions under which a refund may be requested and processed.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refund requests will only be considered under the following conditions:
- Within 14 days of enrolment and where less than 20% of the course content has been accessed, a full refund will be issued.
- Between 15 and 30 days of enrolment and where less than 40% of the course content has been accessed, a 50% refund will be issued.
- After 30 days from the date of enrolment, or where more than 40% of the course content has been accessed, no refund will be issued.
- Courses purchased during a promotional or discounted period are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Certification or examination fees once an assessment attempt has been made.
- Downloadable resources or materials that have been accessed or downloaded.
- Subscription fees for platform access once the subscription period has commenced.
- Courses gifted to another user.
4. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, students must:
- Log in to their LMS student dashboard.
- Navigate to My Courses → Request Refund.
- Complete the refund request form, providing the reason for the request.
- Submit the form within the eligible refund window.
Our Finance team will review the request and respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.
5. Disputes
If you believe a refund has been unfairly declined, you may escalate your query to finance@lms.ac.uk. All disputes will be reviewed by senior management and resolved within 14 working days.
6. Changes to This Policy
LMS reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Students will be notified of material changes via email and through the platform dashboard. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Governing Law
The LMS platform is operated and maintained by LMS Education Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12345678). All use of this platform, including enrolment, payment, and access to course content, is governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Jurisdiction
Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or in connection with the use of the LMS platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. By registering and using the LMS platform, you irrevocably submit to this jurisdiction.
3. International Students
LMS welcomes students from all over the world. However, students accessing the platform from outside the United Kingdom do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations. LMS makes no representation that the content or services available on the platform are appropriate or available in all jurisdictions.
4. Data Protection & GDPR
All personal data collected by LMS is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For full details, please refer to our separate Privacy Policy.
5. Language
These terms and all related communications are provided in the English language. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
6. Regulatory Compliance
LMS complies with applicable UK education and consumer protection regulations, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Distance Selling Regulations. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. General Disclaimer
The LMS platform and all course content, materials, assessments, and resources are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. LMS Education Ltd makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose.
2. No Guarantee of Outcomes
LMS does not guarantee any specific academic, professional, or career outcomes as a result of completing any course or programme on the platform. Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, and external factors beyond LMS's control.
3. Cap on Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LMS Education Ltd's total aggregate liability to any student or user — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by that student in the 12 months preceding the claim.
4. Excluded Losses
LMS shall not be liable for any of the following, even if foreseeable:
- Loss of income, revenue, or profit.
- Loss of business or opportunity.
- Loss of data or corruption of data (other than where caused by LMS's gross negligence).
- Indirect or consequential loss of any kind.
- Any loss arising from the student's reliance on third-party content linked from the platform.
5. Platform Availability
LMS makes reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available 24/7, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, technical faults, or force majeure events may affect availability. LMS shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by platform downtime.
6. Third-Party Links
The LMS platform may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only. LMS has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site.
7. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials. LMS shall not be liable for any unauthorised access to a student account arising from the student's failure to keep login details secure.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Limitation of Liability clause shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

1. Ownership of Content
All course content, materials, videos, slides, assessments, quizzes, written resources, and design elements available on the LMS platform are the intellectual property of LMS Education Ltd or its licensed instructors and content partners. All rights are reserved.
2. Licence Granted to Students
Upon successful enrolment, LMS grants each student a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This licence is strictly personal to the enrolled student and may not be transferred to any other person.
3. Prohibited Uses
Students are strictly prohibited from:
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing any course content in whole or in part without prior written consent from LMS.
- Screen-recording, downloading (unless an explicit download option is provided), or capturing any video content.
- Sharing login credentials or granting third parties access to enrolled courses.
- Using LMS content for commercial purposes, training other individuals, or reselling the content in any form.
- Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works based on LMS content.
- Uploading, posting, or transmitting any LMS content to any third-party platform, social media, or file-sharing service.
4. Instructor & Third-Party Content
Certain courses on the LMS platform are authored by independent instructors. Instructors retain ownership of their original course materials but grant LMS an irrevocable licence to host, distribute, and sublicense the content to enrolled students. Third-party materials referenced within courses remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable fair use, educational licence, or attribution agreements.
5. Student-Generated Content
Where students submit assignments, discussion posts, or project work through the platform, they retain ownership of their original work but grant LMS a non-exclusive licence to use such content for assessment, quality assurance, and internal training purposes.
6. Reporting Infringement
If you believe that content on the LMS platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to legal@lms.ac.uk containing the following:
- Your full name and contact details.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- A description of where the infringing material appears on the platform.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner.
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
LMS will investigate all notices and respond within 10 working days.
7. Consequences of Infringement
Any student found to have violated this Copyright Policy will be subject to immediate suspension or permanent termination of their account, without refund. LMS reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover damages for copyright infringement.

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the standards of conduct expected of all students, instructors, and visitors using the LMS platform. It is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all.
2. Prohibited Conduct
Users of the LMS platform must not:
- Engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation towards other students, instructors, or staff.
- Post or share content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent their identity or affiliation.
- Submit work that is plagiarised or obtained through academic dishonesty.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any other user's account or to restricted areas of the platform.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code into the platform.
- Use the platform or its community forums for commercial advertising or spam.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with their use of the platform.
3. Academic Integrity
LMS upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. All work submitted for assessment must be the student's own original work unless collaborative work is explicitly permitted by the course instructor. Plagiarism, collusion, and contract cheating are serious offences and may result in permanent exclusion from the platform.
4. Community Forums & Discussions
Where the platform provides discussion forums or community spaces, students are encouraged to engage respectfully and constructively. LMS moderators reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without notice.
5. Reporting Violations
If you witness conduct that violates this policy, please report it via the platform's Report a Concern feature or email conduct@lms.ac.uk. All reports will be treated confidentially.
6. Consequences
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- A formal written warning.
- Temporary suspension of platform access.
- Permanent termination of the student account without refund.
- Referral to relevant legal or regulatory authorities where criminal conduct is suspected.

- Payment Data: Billing name, address, and payment method details (processed securely via our payment provider; LMS does not store card numbers).

- Create and manage your student account.

1. Our Commitment
LMS is committed to ensuring that the platform is accessible to all students, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across all core platform features.
2. Accessible Features
- All video content is captioned and includes audio descriptions where required.
- Course materials are available in accessible formats (PDF, HTML) upon request.
- The platform interface supports keyboard-only navigation.
- Screen reader compatibility has been tested using NVDA and VoiceOver.
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios are maintained throughout the interface.
3. Known Limitations
Certain legacy course materials created before January 2023 may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to remediate these materials.
